Terry Halverson einer der beiden einzigen Gletscherpiloten in B.C. meldet, dass auch in Canada nun die schÃ¶nste Zeit des Jahres begonnen habe.

I was surprised to find the „sledders“ on the Cayley glacier as I thought access from the valley would be quite difficult. The first photo is taken on the lower part of the glacier at 6100′. The next higher landing area (above the crevasses visible just off the starboard wing) had even better snow, completely unaffected by wind.“
„My next stop was the Callaghan Glacier, about 10 minutes away. This area is also popular with the snow machines but as you can see in the last photo, only my tracks are visible on the slope ahead.“
